Title says it all, the set bonus is leaps and bounds below what the current T1 set bonus is. Like who looked at this and said “yeah this can compete with T1 Set Bonuses”. Its so bad no one would ever even think of using this set over the current one. Its just lucky that apparently we can upgrade the T1 items to T2 items with the same set bonus otherwise Shadow priest would be stuck using there T1 set for Phase 5 as well. Blizzard this needs a hard redesign or its just DOA will never get used and was a waste of development time and might as well just made the T1 set upgrade and not bothered making this new Set bonus.

Yes, totaly agree, i wont be using the t2 set. If anything get the 2 piece bonus and and the 6 piece from t1. I dont understand how they could think this is in any way a good set bonus.
Its not Even just the Set bonus, doing SIMS today with the update gear added to the SIM the actual gear is just bad to. I SIMED the Gloves, Belt, Boots at a 11 DPS gain COMBINED, note this is without taking into account the 200% crit damage on direct damage spells for us now which means the actual DPS gain from the pieces could be a net neutral or even a DPS loss because they removed the CRIT from all 3 of these pieces.
Totally uninteractive and boring. wouldnt even notice when the thing procs cause you don’t have to play around it or anything.
Also like the whole snapshotting meta? Does the 20% apply to dots already up or what is going on with that because we just refresh our dots the whole fight so if it doesnt increase current dot on target dmg then it would legit get 0 use
Thats if it procs, 2.5% chance to proc on SWP tick. On a long fight you will get like 60 ticks. So statistical you could go several fights with never even seeing it proc. Not to mention if it does proc and you have to re-snapshot your dots mid fight you will be doing so most likely without trinket and having to over-ride your inner focus snap shot. If you got a PI on the RIP you actually just wouldn’t bother re-snaping your dots because you would legit LOSE DPS. Its the worst tier set bonus i have ever seen. T1 2p is better and thats saying a lot.
on top of that parsing is basically rng at the top level. i mean imagine back to back to back procs. gg parse

same goes for rogue tank t1 2 set, its legit MANDATORY if you intend on tanking anything other than 1 target and even then its still like half the aoe threat of any other tank. it should be built in baseline for rog tank + their tank rune needs to be active 24/7 not only when ANOTHER tank rune is also active.
pretty much every1s set bonuses are trash. they shouldve just left tier gear untouched other than the multi-spec availability. all current spec “set bonuses” should’ve been something we equip like our runes imo. the sod devs are horrible at design and im ngl the retail devs aren’t any better 
i could hire my nephew (a child) and he could come up with more creative thought than these devs. its unfort
