I’d like to switch forms and have my bar change at the same time then when i get out of it, my bar to switch back to my healing spells. Can anyone help me out with macros or addons to get this to work?
Do you want to do this so you have damage and healing spells on the same bar? Because I don’t know how to swap bars in a macro (or if it’s even possible) but I do have a macro that will cast damage/healing spells based on the target. It can also work as a mouseover macro too.
No, i want a separate bar for when i’m in shadowform and when i’m out of it. This was easy to do in later versions of the game as shadowform was treated similar to a warrior stance or druid form, but apparently it’s not in classic.
So… assuming it cannot be done (which I will assume unless corrected by someone else), do you want help with combining abilities so you only need 1 bar or no? Your call, not gonna force it on you, but you’ll get the same end result.
I honestly just wish it was the way it was in later versions. Right now whenever i get involved in world PvP I’m fumbling around like a jackass trying to do anything.
I’ll take that as a “no” then. Have fun wishing, I’ll go bother someone else. Ta-ta!

yeah have to remember or log into retail. think about cast [stance:1,3][stance:2] spell
its something like that man. hard to remember without checking out any of my older ones
But it’s considered an ability, not a stance in classic. For now I will swap bars with a mousewheel when i switch forms as a work around till i find something better.
ahh. can also put spells on an multiaction bar with some things you are thinking about using qbinds not 1-5
too foocked up atm. meant a qbind not 1-5 for them on a multiaction bar
mousewheel just has too many options to be used to swap bars!
OK, so why are you fumbling after transitioning in and out of shadow form?
In macros form:1 is Shadowform, not stance:1.
/cast [@target, harm, form:1] Mind Blast; Flash Heal

Do you really need entire healing bar as shadow?

My shadow spells and healing spells are on different bars. What do you use your mousewheel for?
The same thing I use almost all my buttons for: casting one spell if enemy, and a different spell if friend.
mousewheel down always dispel friend, purge enemy for me. shift purge p1 target, ctrl open still and alt self cast.
but that is more personal flavor. just alt,ctrl,shift makes mousewheel down and up 8 qbinds
