Shadow Priest gameplay is horrible

This spec’s gameplay has no rhyme or reason. It feels like there are 3 or 4 different core ideas here that were just thrown together hoping they would work. Playing this spec is actually an unmitigated chore. Why in the hell would you do this? S.Priest didn’t need all of this crap to micromanage. Every time I enter combat with this spec it feels like I am there to micromanage buttons. At no point do I feel the class fantasy in this because I am too busy worrying about buttons.

Absolutely horrible. I regret everything. Time to reroll.

I actually feel the same way and I loved my Shadow Priest. The playstyle just feels extremely awkward and I had waay too many buttons and cooldowns for my feeble monkey brain to keep track of.

You think this version of spriest is micromanaging? It’s miles better than the BFA version.

Is void form still a thing? If so, that’s why it’s terrible.

It’s a normal cooldown now instead of some weird maintenance buff plate spinny thing that you need in order to not hit like a wet noodle.

I like this better than the “void form” builder/spender. It’s not shadow orbs, but it’s way more fun than it has been.

If they made devouring plague “castable” while mindflaying/searing i think that would feel so right, exactly how that mind blast proc works.

Shadow Priest is alright but it’s not my kind of gameplay unfortunately.

Disc is more my line-up but as it is it just hits like a wet noodle with even weaker heals. So here I am doing Holy stuff.

I feel the same way on all of this.
I don’t know what else I can really do to make my Disc better. I can’t tell if it’s me, or the class. I feel like I got my rotations right but I’m still spamming shadow mend lol.

The only gimmick it has going for it is the penitent legendary it has and even then you’re kind of using radiance off of cool down in hopes of a proc…

The Icy veins rotation feels fun and smooth for me. I enjoy the added complexity. We have two extra skills to cast on the run now devouring plague and shadow word death
