BWL won’t destroy better guilds, but it is definitely a guild killer though.
BWL will kill a lot of social/casual guild and any of the 10+ weekly PUG raid you have seen lately for MC.
I did a PUG on my alt with 25+ members from the same guild…It took us 2hrs to get to Garr.
And guess what, we didn’t kill Garr.

there is only 1 apes. rest of us are mediocre.
I think you’re going to be very surprised.
BWL will probably destroy a lot of pugs for a while, but I believe that most halfway decent guilds will do just fine in there.

Yeah, pugs and Razorgore = a probable mess. So much so that I might actually look out in Twitch for streams of pugs running BWL.

Those DPS checks were a hindrance in 2005. With 1.12 talents, 15 years of knowledge, and the min/max culture we have today…It’s not going to be that hard. Razorgore will only be hard if the raid is unable to control the adds, most guilds will probably just murder them as they spawn though. Vael will depend on the tank transition. No guild will fail to kill him because of dps. The rest of the fights are mostly about positioning.

Pugs are gonna get straight wrecked by Razorgore…
If they manage to get past Razorgore and Vaal, they’re unlikely to have enough ony cloaks to progress…
Unless I am remembering it wrong, you need the ony cloak or Firemaw will DESTROY YOU!

To answer ops real question yes it’s ok if you switch to your priest full time.
Your dps…I mean your friends dps was decent last raid and gave you a little chip on your shoulder. Run with it and enjoy shadow!

Except our first rags kill had enough dps to beat patchwerk pre-enrage.If your guild is hitting issues with dps checks they need to revisit how they play the game. It’s 2020 not 2005.

aslong as the tanks know how to do the eggs and theres someone to assign corners properly they will explode the mobs.
Firemaw does pure fire damage with the exception of the breath. If the breath is hitting the raid you haven’t gotten upto firemaw with tanks that bad. Realistically the hardest part of that fight is getting people to stop dps to drop stacks. The 3 drakes are a joke.

Our Gm took us through a dummy run of BWL on our retail toons to sort that out. Will be doing it again a week before BWL hits to make sure people are up on it.

I’m sure all your guilds DPS is fantastic but all of you are missing the point completely, were talking about the viability of a class whose entire spell base is dramatically effected by raid mechanics, in a raid that gets more and more annoying the further you get into it. and I’m not even talking about bosses.
