In other versions of WoW outside of Remix shadow priests have access to the glyph that greatly reduces the effect of the shadowform aura and its associated contrails, but we don’t have that in this game mode. The problem here is that the contrail pulses at just the right frequency that I can’t look directly at the screen while mounted. It’s the same type of pulsation that triggers seizures in some people and causes severe visual sensitivity issues in others (like myself).
Can we please get either a glyph to purchase so we can reduce this effect or finally just bake the shadowform “bonuses” into the base spec and let the shadowform toggle be just that - a visual toggle? I wish I was joking about how uncomfortable (and distressing) it is to have to see this every time I fly around mounted. It’s the same reason I don’t use the engineering mounts that have smoke contrails.
