Yea I know is intend to help out whoever is dying like a tank or a healer BUT what if you are are dying and purposely use it on a tank? Seems like this can be a really fun talent to troll pugs… like the tank is close to full hp in LFR but you are dying use void shift and give the healer a hear attach.
That’s a real quick way of getting kicked.
Pretty much its a pvp ability. I can’t really think of many if any pve situations I would want to use this.

You’d have to know when a tank smasher is coming and be ready for it. Otherwise, he probably won’t die fast enough - he’d have to lose the other 25% in probably 2 seconds at most. Not a lot in LFR does that kind of damage to a tank.
This. You’d probably only get one shot at it unless you find a 100% braindead tank. I’m not sure how Void Shift is recorded in the combat logs, but I’d have to imagine it is… and when it shows your Void Shift hitting them for several hundred thousand right before they die, even the dullest tank should be able to piece that one together.
