Since paladins works pretty much in same way as priest in lore - they surely should be able to fall into darkness
In Old Lore DK’s were considered Pally opposite, but since whole VOID thing started - shadow stopped being about death magic.

I dont agree it is necessary and think it would steal to many priest and DK mechanics.
But theme wise he is not talking death knight. Death knight = death/unholy/frost magic, his shadow pally = void magic.
There is currently no void based melee character or death based caster.
The only thing you could say and I would turn to someone more knowledgeable i of the lore is, does unholy=void?
no it’s not. Void have nothing to do with shadowlands

What would they bring to the table that a Paladin, Warrior or DK does not? Do we really need a 4th plate armor class when we only have two mail? And another melee? The three “new” classes added have been melee. How about we get a range class.

We need harm touch. Npc only is fine by me but I miss the old shadow knight one hit a mob with the opposite of lay of hands.
But best not to even mention this to blizz or they will add it and give shadowform to pallys and remove it from priests will be just like locks all over again

I also want my own person Starship - the Grumblopolis (NCC-4211 and yes manned by Gnomes) that will take me away from earth and back to my own planet… it doesn’t mean I will get it or should have it.
