Please for the love of Azeroth can we have old shadow form back? After playing a shadow priest in classic hardcore to 60 coming back to the fart cloud is rough.. more options would be great.

They won’t.
People have been asking for years, and they act like they don’t see any of the feedback.
We’ve been asking for Oracle’s stupid floating eye to go away for years too. Zero acknowledgement
Cosmetic stuff like this is super irritating because there isn’t even game/spec balance to consider when making changes. You just change the look of the spell. It’s such an easy win, but Blizzard isn’t exactly customer oriented these days

I don’t mind the new shadow form generally. That said, every time I load up classic or bc Im reminded how good the old form looked.
The newer one is fine. But the original is iconic. It should absolutely be a cosmetic option.
I think they should take one more crack at it. It’s a bit of a purple fart. It could at least stand to be an indigo fart like it used to be.
That would be better, especially with all the cool Void stuff this expansion. A more blue/cold looking shadows form would fit right in
The original iteration of shadow form is why I made a priest.. its a shame what we have now is so terrible visually
