For the love of god can we please get all the old shadow forms back as barbershop options? I HATE the fart cloud and the glyph of shadows isn’t much better with the weird purple lines moving all over your character model. I just want the original shadow form back from classic… this should be such an easy thing to do as all the models already exist.

My favorite iteration is the original one. A basic shadow with glowing eyes… no purple smoky or anything else.

Been asking for years… I don’t know why they don’t do it. It could just be a f’ing glyph. I won’t play shadow until… I hate the fart cloud

It baffles me that they haven’t implemented a glyph or barber shop option for things like old shadow form. This has been requested for years, they clearly still have the data for it. Shadow has existed as its own thematic thing, separate form old gods, for WoW’s entire history. New types of non-old god related shadow priests have continued to be introduced over the course of the game’s life. The priest class has extremely diverse backgrounds and cultural themes, and the game’s art and customization should reflect that.

I say this as someone who actually loves old god stuff, by the way. No matter how much they want to lean into the old god “fantasy”, as they like to say, they should continue to offer cosmetic support for players who don’t want to go that route for their character.

It would be nice if priest got more customization options. Not just for Shadowform but Apotheosis getting options to reflect the actual gods the races worship, such as Elune form the Night Elves or Loa from the Trolls would be nice.

Currently Shadow has both Archon which to me feels like it could be flavored a lot around Old God “ascension” flavor while Voidweaver plays a lot more into a cosmic elements and I would love to see a Shadowform reflect those elements, and have a similar color scheme to the recent Voidhawk mount that came with the preorder.

Would be a lot of fun to actually get to customize your priest to reflect with god you feel like they would serve.
