they finally realized the other specs were never going to use it with a cast time

and we not even talking about the fact as affl lock we spent 4 talents (2 in Malediction, 2 in Contagion) and we still are less effective than new spriest talent Instilled Doubt that is a merge os those 2 talents costing just 2 talent points :'D

I guess if you have absolutely nothing else to do while on the move. But I doubt it’ll be considered a rotational ability.
And no. Vile Taint absolutely can not have a CD that matches Agony’s duration. That would make too much sense.

I mean you might use it the sense that like you have nothing else to do, and wanna tag mobs. In pve who’s knows, if feels like umbral braze where if possible it’ll just ignore it completely unless I’m out to tag a mob.
Unfortunately we can’t ignore umbral if we want pact of imp mother.
Now if they changed that umbral braze talent to say that when using hand of guldan it has a chance to apply corruption to all targets/curse of weakness. And then add a clause when in pvp it only applies weakness to one target.
Additionally the warlock class tree should have a talent somewhere the near the end where it allows one to put up two curses and some qol to the way we put curse because currently multiple curses are not worth the cast in pve.
Which kinda makes me feel like they’re should be a section of the class tree that expands the specialization debuffs of curses/usage.
