Do you need to coin it? I have been farming this mount for 5years if not more on 14 different toons still nothing.
I’ve asked a lot, everyone seems to be getting it with the Extra Coin roll…
Anyone got the mount without the Extra roll? just random drop?

That thing drops a mount? First I heard of this.
Same with Galleon for me. I’m pretty sure these two guys are screwed over by stupid personal loot rules. I’m pretty sure I’m over 3000 attempts on Galleon.
I had a guild mate back in mists of pandaria that got the mount on his fourth try.
We referred to him as a hacker for the rest of the time that we played.
It was bugged before were it never dropped…
Coining it is not required but it certainly can help. I take 19 toons to Sha every week and all of them coin it so it gives me 38 attempts at it per week. Its a 1/2000 chance mount and I have already convinced myself I’ll likely never get it but I’m at least trying.
Supposedly all those 15 minute timer bosses do. Never seen it myself and have given up. I didn’t even know they dropped loot beyond gold until recently.
I will kill them if I am passing and one pops but I found farming them heavily to be a waste of time personally.
Tbh you would have a better usage of your time by bidding for gold cap once it shows up on the BMAH. Sad how things work out that way. And no I am not Mr. Moneybags, I just realized how much time I was wasting on characters to have them parked at the spots, and them having to wait 20s logout for each. On top of hoping to get the perfect back to back tags without wait time. When I could be using said characters for current content or transmog farming to get more deterministic progression. It just didn’t feel rewarding to waste that many hours.
As bit of expanding on this, you could do carry runs for m+, heroic/mythic for the same amount of hours put into these bosses, come out ahead in gold value and then as I said use that gold on BMAH.
You double your chances if you coin it. I would imagine you actually would have it by now if you did on all those characters for that length of time.
I believe all of the world boss mounts can be coined (?). But no dungeon mount can not bonus rolled?
You should never count on getting those mounts unless you buy it in the BMAH.
It’s a nice fun little side game but remember your odds are so low of getting it and that’s the way it’s supposed to be.
It’s okay not to have everything in the game.
I did get mine after around 40 tries (on a single character) on a bonus roll.
I have a weekly tradition of spending Tuesday night going through my entire alt list as I marathon Supernatural and drink wine with my bestie. If I ever get it I imagine I’ll move on to Rukhmar or something.
On the topic of coins - is there an easy way to get those loaded up on alts? I didn’t play MoP but those come from daily quests, correct?
How did you manage to transmog your swords into non-matching fury mage tower? Transmog one to have an appearance, swap it to offhand and then mog MH to taeshalach?
For the rerolls? I believe Timeless Isle is the easiest and best spot to farm them.
I saw somewhere that the Frogs are best but I have founding killing everything works pretty well.
You can get them on Isle of Thunder. Throughout the island there are these chest you can find and these chest can contain 0-14 Greater Charms. You can get up to 9 Greater charms in a single chest and can also get a chest that can contain up to an additional 4-5. This is a weekly chest so you can only loot one per week/toon (Note: You can get a second chest if you find it <60 seconds of looting your first.) The rares on the Island can also drop greater charms as well.
These rares/chest can also drop items called Incantations which can spawn a special NPC which can also give you Greater Charms. The last item these rares/chest can give you is an item called “Shan’ze Ritual Stones”. Once you get three of these you can spawn another special NPC which can also drop one or two Greater Charms.
This sounds like a lot, but just focus on chest/rares and your alts should be swimming in coins in a 1-2 weeks.
Correct on swapping. MOG one way swap your weapons then MOG the other.
Doesn’t work of course for sword and shield.

Considering how much time I spent on Timeless getting my Golden snek, I’m thinking Thunder… I do still need to farm up green fire for my warlock.
I forgot all about that. I need to do that when the AV event goes away. My Warlock would look great in green flames.
