this is.. interesting lol.
i don't really think that my character is neutral good considering that he is a rogue.
but i appreciate that you put my "persona" there :p thanks!
now i feel like an idiot for my grammar, all this time thinking that actually i was writing correctly.
as you can see then, is not my main language, i mainly speak spanish and i often looking for meanings of some words in google to see if i am saying it right.
and i didn't learn it from school, this is the result of years interacting with people who speak english.
maybe i need to check more of that before posting back again.. i am sorry guys :(.
and this thread is awesome :p.
Nah you're fine dude, I never judged you in any negative way for your writing capability(I think that's in general a dickish thing to do anyway.) but i'm biased, my father still speaks in broken English after all these decades.
Yeah, going to echo Dareth here, you’re doing just fine man :)
Well, I've been absent for a couple of months since I'm such a slowpoke getting through content, so there's a lot of new faces (and maybe alts) I don't quite recognize, but I wanna give this a shot! Please know that I don't mean any harm by nor am I taking any positions with any of these answers! Just having some fun, going with my gut. Also I'm just going to make up alignments, aha~
Anelaan - Lawful Jovial. I love how he has so much fun with all the wacky things that happen in this silly serial. It's awesome to find the humor in things!
Dawnsong - Neutral Elven. Sharp-witted and razor-focused on one of the coolest parts of the story -- Blood Elves!
Fondant/Rogther - Chaotic Interesting. Always something to say, frequently on a new character!
Hackbrew - Neutral Insightful. Not that I think he's all that grumpy, but I'll honor his wishes! One of the most thought-provoking folks here, whose ideas I've actually seen quoted outside of this forum! Amazing!
Arlifrex - Chaotic Neutral. Always has great hot takes :P
Eamon - Lawful Dapper. Here's a guy whose posts I always read in a real gruff, sophisticated voice. The kind you'd want recording audiobooks.
Vaethria - Chaotic Fun. Never know what she's going to say, but I'm sure to enjoy it!
Reignac - Sagely Good. Real talk, I put this guy on a pedestal. Such great posts, for all the years I've been lurking here. Would vote president of the Story Forum!
Samariyu - Chaotic Funny. I am on record as laughing my head off at many Sam posts over the years. Even though there's always an edge to her silliness, it never comes off as mean. I love the passion she has for her favorite characters, too!
Rordren - Lawful Rugged. I see Rordren as your typical Stromgarde soldier. A real honorable, loyal dude with strong values. A proud member of the Alliance!
Treng - Honorable Good. What can I say, this guy bleeds red! Well, we all do, but I mean Horde Red (tm)!
Valko - Sassy Neutral. If you know Valko, no elaboration needed :P
Yvenathilm - Chaotic Neutral. You truly, truly never know what you're going to get. But you're going to be delighted by it!
Ximothy - Neutral Encyclopedic. Ximothy's just a trove of information. He sticks out in my mind because of his cool hat and because of numerous times over the years I've seen him drop knowledge bombs all over a thread.
Galenorn - Lawful Druidic. Here's another poster I end up associating with an in-game faction. Just comes off as a wise old Druid. So nice, too!!
Kelrexia - Chaotic Fun. I already used Chaotic Fun, yes, but frankly Kel and Vae are like a superhero duo in my mind and I'd love to be their designated driver.
Kharinak - Lawful Snarky. Smart, always has great points, and often delivers them in a dryly humorous way. One of the many great troll (as in the race!) posters on this forum :)
Hahahahahaha - Chaotic Lime. There is one truth, and it's green.
Fythra - Lawful Delightful. Very well-spoken, and always a delight to see her in threads.
Saiphas - Energetic Good. Honestly, mostly a new face for me, but I've been seeing him around so much lately, and it's always with a nice contribution :)
Reallyhappy - Neutral Passionate. Sometimes you click a thread and just know someone's going to be there. Reallyhappy is one of those people with Forsaken threads. The iconic Forsaken of the Story Forum to me :)
Murdra - Neutral Wise. Here's a guy I've seen around a lot, for a long time. Dwarf posters are pretty rare, too, so I always take note of his posts for the cool avatar and the awesome content!
Lena - True Neutral. Turns out, there's another truth. And it's 100% definitely not human.
Cannibal - Lawful Sagely. His work with the wiki and compiling information has been amazingly helpful in both understanding the lore and crafting better roleplays. I'd run this guy as Reignac's VP.
Skytotem - Chaotic Wise. Like a box of chocolates, except more like a box of knowledge nuggets. This guy lores.
Okay, whew! I think that's good for now, lol. Sorry if I forgot anyone. No harm meant if I did, I'm just a ditz. What a fun thread, though! Thank you for making it. Hopefully I can work my way through content a bit faster and get to know everyone much better :)

Perhaps, once upon a time. Post-Teldrassil I've noticed I have about a 50/50 shot of posting as my "old" self, or as Lawful Maiev: impotently screaming for a Justice and Vengeance I will never actually have, due to game mechanics.
Yersynia is the orc DK right? i'd figured her out for a chaotic evil
I find it funny that me and Treng are both as pro-Horde as you can reasonably be and still hold a useful discussion here, but we disagree with each other more than we disagree with the Alliance-aligned posters.
I want a Yersynia/Treng buddy cop action adventure. Cleaving quillboar and hunting Alliance together, all the while teaching each other about their respective perspectives on (un)life. Treng could teach Yersynia about respecting your opponents, and she could teach him how to field dress a gnome.

I’ll admit, even as an Alliance player this made me chuckle.

And here I was thinking I wasn't distinct enough to be noticed.
Thanks for the kind words, Hanashi. You're always a treasure.
Hanashi. You're always a treasure.
Probably the one thing everyone here, Red and Blue, can agree on. Hanashi must be protected, at all costs.

I'm telling youse guyse, he's red shirt guy.

Fund it.
Darethy is hardcore Lawful Evil. I'd call Lena neutral evil / true evil. No code, no chaos. Just spite.
I do think that the bit about Lena is interesting. In that being True Neutral doesn't strictly mean not having a political or racial alignment.
I most certainly fall in that category. Hell, on my current main I refuse to wear red because I want to represent the Forsaken Horde, rather then the Horde Horde. I have stake firmly in their narrative, they are the people I agree with most, the ones I have the biggest emotional connection to and the most respect for.
That doesn't mean I don't try to argue from a middle perspective when I can though. I made a point to study Alliance questing as well as Horde questing just for the sake of understanding their lore. Seeing them commune with the Wild Gods and the Light, the poor and destitute taken in by the Alliance, see the community they built, the people rescued from fates worse then death. Seeing the aftermath of the Horde attack and how people cope with the death of their loved ones. The pride they take in their work, the esteem they hold for their leaders, their willingness to fight and die for them, as well how hard and terrible their lives would of been without the Alliance.
I try to be conscious of the fact there's a reason they want to fight and kill me. Though in my eyes whenever we zoom out of the cartoonishness our leaders sometimes exhibit, i'v always been firmly of the stance Warcraft has no obvious villains between the Horde and Alliance, either by design or by accident and people argue endlessly for that very reason.
Everyone is struggling to do what they have to do, everyone has lost loved ones to the other, and everybody is poisoned by hate for the other side. To the point that sometimes that spills out into the forums, even into me, and try to expel that notion when I can even though sometimes it's hard. Just like real life, everybody is guilty of something.
But that doesn't mean i'm 'true' true neutral. I don't believe that if we could cut through all our biases nothing is anything, that there's no objective truth, that morality is some form of tribalism. I think that's an important distinction.
I love this <3
Clearly I need to post more so I can be considered a regular, lol

SnickersI don't mind being labeled evil. But I am not, nor have I ever been
lawful. I think at this point i'v expressed my desire for revolution and fighting unfair enough for that.
Arlifrex - Chaotic Neutral. Always has great hot takes :P

I'd argue that Lena is more of a Chaotic Good type. She wants justice for the races that have been under represented during the years in favor of Human/Orcs but she would take justice in her own hands and by all means necessary.
but she would take justice in her own hands and by all means necessary.
So she's Frank Castle, I like her better already.

I still have trouble finding the right "Evil Alignment" for you. In a good and rescpectful way of course XD

If you have to pick one, i'd say evil pragmatist? I don't fight dirty enough to be chaotic, and I fight too dirty to be lawful.
True Evil? I mean I don't mind that either, it's sufficiently spooky. :P
Such a strange tight nit community to stumble upon and observe.
I hate the whole alignment chart thing though. Putting people into neat little boxes can be silly.

@Vozul thanks for doing this thread, its good to have an injection of good vibes in here, keep on keeping on dude
I think we should all be impressed that Blizzard has managed to drive forum morale so low that an alignment debate is seen as a bit of lighthearted fun. ;)
