SF buff @ 60

Still have the SF buff @ 60.

So confirming even at 60 with the buff there is no trading, AH, mail? or does it just show you had the buff, but where you can pretty much do anything?

The Unbroken Self Found Champion buff is with the soul of iron and the Self found adventurer are two different buffs. I guess you have to remove it yourself

so the SF buff and restrictions don’t go away at 60? that’s good news if so. no reason why you can’t just keep doing 60 content with SF if you want to

Just wanting to confirm the following:

  1. Character was leveled from 1-60 as Self-Found and not a 60 with the buff randomly per the bug
  2. Said character can or can’t trade/mail/AH with the buff
  3. If person removes the buff at 60 do they still get recognized for having leveled as SF?

Personally leveling as SF sounds like a fun challenge but raiding where I constantly have to level and drop professions sounds more tedious than fun. I would like raiding where everyone just “agreed” to never drop and re-level professions but you know that would never happen.

Yes i hit 60 self found on Kamx druid recieved unbroken self found champion under soul of iron buff. Then @ 60 i thought it dissapeared and i tried to mail things from my bank and it said char is SF.

5 days 5 hours 22 minutes 15 seconds total time played time played @ 60 2 hours 49 minutes 52 seconds

EDIT: the self found adventurer buff is SEPERATE from the unbroken self found champion i did not remove it .

So it is confirmed that SF can continue @ 60

ok so I guess the only thing left to confirm is someone who doesn’t want to continue being SF at 60 if your accomplishment is removed. I guess also if there is any different reward for beating raid bosses with SF (kind of like we do for regular HC Nef, Cthun and KT)

Thank you

This is really great news for those who don’t want to stop the SF voyage at 60, but where those who want to switch can. Thanks for reporting this, also congrats on 60!

so raiding at 60 SF means you get no loot rofl. Can’t be traded epics.

No you can’t. You can remove it at anytime but it is gone from that toon forever once you remove it.

Well yes, once you remove the buff, it should be gone forever and there should be no way to get it back.

The question that many people had was if the buff automatically dropped off at 60, so while you could see that someone had completed the challenge, the restrictions themselves would automatically end, even for those players who did not choose to remove the restrictions to AH/Trading/Mail and wanted to continue the SF journey even after 60. General consensus by most people was that the restrictions would automatically end at 60, which was disappointing, since while some would choose to end them, not all would.

However based on Kamv’s experience after hitting 60, he indicates he is still restricted in the use of the AH/Mail/Trainding, and still has the buff, so the option to remove the buff and the restrictions are up to him. This is a good thing, as it people to continue their journey if they so choose.

The buff is very easy to accidently toggle off if you are not paying attention. You can put SoI back on, but never the SF buff.

If I were him I would keep SF buff on as you can NEVER have it re-applied, even by a ticket so Blizzard claims. Just level up a non SF toon to 60 or so and have that toon doing the grinding for you to mail stuff to your non SF alts that you have.

Two people in one of my guilds got to level 60 with SF on and they quit those toons for good. They said they are never logging into them ever again and now are leveling up alts.

Sure, I think you can.
