since prepatch I have been experiencing severely glitched textures,
I would chalk it down to my graphics card if it were not for a few issues: it only affects WoW, it only started happening since prepatch, and other people have reported similar issues.
the issue is temporarily resolved by restarting the game, and in-world texture issues can be temporarily resolved by switching to graphics quality 1 then back , though this does nothing for UI texture corruption (reloading the UI does nothing).
finally I have noticed that the glitched textures almost “shuffle” what is being glitched when passing through a loading screen
I have done a fresh installation of my graphic’s card’s drivers, and run the repair tool on WoW itself, though neither of these have fixed anything.

I had severe texture/lag issues when I started using a 4k TV as a monitor. I have tried various solutions recommended including updating Windows (now I am on Windows 11) and Graphics Drivers and it wont really fix it.
There was a stupid fix by reverting to DirectX 11 instead of DirectX 12 and it all remove the issues but you cant experience your new card features defeating the purpose of getting a new graphics card.
I just found a solution and it seems to work… no more lagging and no more texture issues. I am an Nvidia user btw. Using their new driver plus using their recommended settings for World of WarCraft has eliminated my problems. It worked on me. I was able to do 3 straight Heroic Dungeon runs. I felt I was playing as fluid as with my old monitor. BTW, I am using an LG OLED 55 inch 4K TV as my monitor. 4 hours straight after dungeons on the environment for fishing and herbing. And my Dragon controls improved too.
What I realized is that I was setting my Card to the most difficult settings. I still have some Ultra settings on some but there are those that I should not max out. I am now loving WoW more. ROFL.
I think even the most expensive Video Card in there would still have issues if you set it all to Max Ultra settings. Good luck to you guys. I am playing WoW on 4K. ROFL.

Same here. 10700K and 3060 Ti. Brand new 3060 Ti that I got yesterday because of this issue and thought the graphics card was failing. I was using a 2070 (and was getting the same results).
