I have several ideas. So mount flying hasn’t looked real for me. My drake, for example, flaps it’s wings through a decent instead of gliding; or glides while ascending.
Adds can aggro me through a wall (out of the line of sight).
I will die if I have path of frost active and I fall from a fatal height onto water.
Also, if I use a spell while on a flying mount above ground to attack an add, the add will evade, even though the spell dismounted my character.
What if: Flying mounts glided through a decent? What if adds would only aggro through line of sight? And if characters with path of frost active broke through the ice - only suffering minor damage (or none at all)? Adds shouldn’t evade if I’ve used a spell from a flying mount. The point of these ideas is immersion.
I also think it would be cool if some mounts could do barrel rolls where a sharp turn was taken, could dive through the air (as opposed to having a horizontal animation while ascending or descending), and also upon grazing something while flying, would stretch out their feet towards the object (like an eagle going for a fish in the water, except the intention being to push off of the object).
Thoughts?
