Several Game Audio Issues

I've reported these before, in some cases for years now, and in some cases these problems have existed SINCE CLASSIC unaddressed.

1. Unchecking Enable Pet Sounds does nothing. Pets still play all audio, Battle Pets still play all audio.
Zip, zilch, nada. I cannot find a single entity in this game that unchecking this box actually blocks the sound of. Hunter pets, Warlock pets, that annoying Pandaren Monk battle pet, nothing is affected by this checkbox.
This one's just basic game functionality that's broken.

2. Unchecking Enable Emote Sounds does not affect most forced emote toys.
Train set, the heartbreak thing, tournament favor, etc. Despite using emote sounds, the toys are just randomly not bundled in the same sound category. Less broken than the pet sounds, but still broken.

3. Several BFA Cutscenes' audio uses improper settings.
Most often, regardless of your sound settings, it seems to put its Music on some default level which ignores all your sound settings, and then put the Dialogue on the Sound Effects or Ambience volume?
Very jarring to have manually balanced audio and then suddenly music drowns out all other sound and the characters' dialogue can't actually be heard.

4. Multiple other imbalanced audio: Core Hounds, Big Cat pets (Loque for example), Demonic Gateways.
Whether these sounds all ignore your sound settings (they ALL ignore Pet Sounds not being enabled), or they're just twice as loud as all other game audio, the effect is still that these sound effects are all FAR louder than all other game audio.
THIS ISSUE HAS EXISTED UNRESOLVED SINCE CLASSIC WOW, ie FOR OVER A LITERAL DECADE.

There's really no excuse for essentially any of these. Your in-game options should function, and glaring imbalanced audio designed almost 15 years ago should've been fixed then.
Consider: There are children in high school now whose entire lives have existed within the window of unfixed Core Hound audio.

Fix your broken menu options.
Fix your broken audio.
People don't notice and people don't complain because they turn off game sound and listen to bad music instead. That's no reason for you to not fix these problems for the few of us who actually have game audio on.
So are any of these going to get fixed at any point in time or do I need to start making daily threads for the next 15 years so that maybe, after another 15 years pass, some of these issues might get fixed.
So for Halloween, can someone dress up as a guy who fixes 15 year old broken game audio and broken menu options?
Or is basic menu functionality still in Beta?
The sound design panel at Blizzcon seemed to have overlooked properly balancing 15 year old sounds to not be twice as loud as other audio.

Granted, if unchecking Enable Pet Sounds actually disabled pet sounds... then I wouldn't have to complain about imbalanced broken audio.
Still broken by the way. I really wish one of these threads would get literally any acknowledgement.

BASIC MENU OPTIONS SHOULD NOT FAIL TO WORK FOR YEARS AT A TIME.

Imagine if you were a big game company, and you incorporated player microphones into your new wasteland MMO game, and then you didn't put an option for Push To Talk so everyone's mic was always open spamming noise all the time.
You'd be Fallout 76.

Is WoW supposed to have the same lack of basic game functionality as Fallout 76?
Because that's what I see when I can't even disable these imbalanced pieces of audio (that is itself another basic quality control issue) like Core Hounds, Big Cats, and Demonic Gates.

Or when BFA's cutscenes are broken, because Voices don't use the Voice audio volume, Voices use another one.
And the MUSIC uses the VOICE volume setting, and also obviously ignores having music disabled because music in cutscenes "isn't music".

(Edit: May as well highlight that one, it's a glaring recent issue.)

Yes, this is ranty, because there's just this many broken basic functionality and standard quality control issues with this game's audio. Most don't notice because they disable game audio or listen to other loud things over this game's audio, which reflects very poorly on some of this game's sound design.

I never mute anything in Final Fantasy 14, and their sound menu options all work.
Just saying, be more like FF14 and less like Fallout 76, please.

Well I’m giving you some attention. I’m having a similar issue. Adjusting the MUSIC slider under volume does nothing. I’m in the middle of a quest and the action is going, music swelling. It’s great except for the fact that I CAN’T HEAR THE NPCS. It doesn’t matter where I put the music volume slider, it has no effect. Other sliders appear to be working as expected.
