Why is this still a thing?
I want this so badly!
We only get the version without glowy bits, or black set with red glowy bits…
Just put it in the Trading Post, or the Timewalking Vendor, or something…

Went searching for the other colors of the Lightforged set when Gemini told me this:
The Lightforged heritage armor currently has only one recolor option: the standard purple color. While there are datamined recolors of the Lightforged heritage armor (purple, gold/silver, burgundy/gold), they haven’t been released to the gam.
If only that were true…
And we even had the silver/gold coloration already. I was wearing the freaking thing when they changed it on me.

MoP remix was the absolute PERFECT and I mean PERFECT opportunity to release some of the CM set recolors. They didn’t and it honestly makes me more angry than it should.

The blue Plunderlord set with the brass trim looks nice (not the black/purple one), I think that one is floating around but not yet implemented. I think the Booty Bay goblin uses it in Undermine?
Could be wrong, though.

Also opens a can of worms because then it’s just “now what about the originals”.
Ye, but can’t use them on real servers.
There is a black recolor of the classic Glorious plate bikini set that was worn by mobs in old Upper Blackrock Spire, but was never available to players save for the chest, which still drops from Sunken Temple.
The things I would do to get those legs in my wardrobe…

I never said they could be used on retail servers.
But the fact remains that anyone who wants the challenge mode sets can go onto MoP classic to earn them and enjoy them on the classic servers.

Irrelevant.
Likely contributed to them not reimplementing them or making any of the alternative tints available over the past decade.
No cm sets, no elite sets, no glad drakes, no mage tower weapons, etc.
Point is completely lost. I don’t want to “enjoy” them on a complete separate game. I want to enjoy them on the characters I’m currently playing. Which is impossible.

Mythic raid tier is the exact recolor of elite sets.
Ye, and mythic sets should go away when the season ends but too late for that. 
The point is, you may see one or two instances of “bring elite sets back” but it’s not as much as “bring CM sets/MT appearances back”. If a true recolor exists then it satisfies the majority of people wanting that particular appearance.

No, it isn’t. I think that the game benefits from exclusive seasonal incentives. Especially ones tied to class. Did dungeons in mop on Druid? Cool, you get a unique set of class gear.
We’ve only regressed when it comes to rewards.
Not being able to efficiently and easily acquire everything isn’t a bug.
