Greetings travelers! 
< Set Sail > is recruiting for our raid rosters and vanilla content through to Burning Crusade.
Hopefully we will also be seeing Wrath released with how developers are listening to the communities.
Hopes up for that! We would love to see this guild live on through the expansions and that is our ambition.
Our ambition is to create that guild atmosphere of 2008 where raiding with the guild and social engagement was one of the best things of the week. You had your banter, the healthy competition of being the top DPS or Healer of the week for bragging rights. We wish to bring that back, with less of that toxic tryharding enviroment.
We however encourage people getting their worldbuffs, as this a smaller nuisance to gather with boons available. The buffs offer too much of a raid buff if everyone raid-wide has them. Would you miss the world buffs? Not the end of the world, you won’t be penalized. However, those individuals consistently tryharding and topping meters will be the players who be justly rewarded with first-hand picks on big boy loot. If you do raid carrying performance, it is without argument only fair you recieve desired spoils.
These lootrules are non negotiable in this guild, goes for new recruits, veterans to officers. Feetdragging is okay, we want to be able to bring good people that perhaps aren’t the best players at minmaxing but you will have to accept that raid loot is further down the road.
Not to mention the organized PvP, we love that stuff. We have a competetive guild core for both vanilla Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin all the way to more casual blackrock mountain world PvP to contesting world bosses. 
– We have a community of people looking forward to the arenas in Burning Crusade, which this guild definitely is encouraging and makes sure to help prioritize PvP items for PvPers (within means of reason, we want everyone to have fair shot at all items of course).
The guild consists majority of guildies we have recruited along the way during this fresh, we have handpicked recruits and made sure they have social skills and will contribute. We have as a smaller core of guildies and friends who met on privrealms and on Whitemane ERA. For different reasons we scrambled to make a new guild, mainly because alot of our alliance guilds from Whitemane now rerolled horde. (Makes for potentially very fun world PvP).
However, very few of these players have the time or energy to engage in raidleading, officer roles and similiar guild work so we will be recruiting for those. This guild is not a friend-based loot corruption guild. Can assure you this.
Longstanding guild and raid leading experience, with fresh out the oven Naxxramas raids.
At current time of writing we have roughly 10 players in prebis gear, actively helping out guildies still in the level 50 range with BRD runs and getting gear sorted. Doing our best to help every man and woman out of the leveling trenches and hyping each other up!
Molten Core releases roughly in a weeks time and we are in full preparations.
Majority of our guild is still leveling, as is the rest of the playerbase.
Which is why we put up this recruitment post now. We are accepting levelers such as raid ready gamers.
– We have yet not decided on raid day and hours, we will poll these as we realistically see a raid roster ready to go
Current time of day, we are collaborating a raid for Molten Core release with allied guilds until both respectively can fill their own 40 man rosters.

We have players in the ages up to 50s and zoomers fresh out the oven first time playing vanilla wow,
ensuring we have a mix of healthy chemistry in the guild.
