So as a survival hunter i new that the bomb damage was getting nerfed but the tier set got hit as well by 10% so all up survival got hit twice not once thanks blizz for not telling us

Nah, over more hidden nerfs, soar nerfs, dragonriding nerfs, raid nerfs, set nerfs, and a patch that doesnt work. This alllllll the same trash they started doing to us before Shadowlands and Id rather hold on to the money and pick up DF later when they start to fix whatever theyve broken.

Whats wrong with nerfs? they are a necessary part of any MMO when there are outliers. And “buff everyone else to their level” isn’t a valid way of balancing a game.

It was in the patch notes I’m pretty sure.
" (4) Set Bonus: Wildfire Bomb bonus damage lowered to 20% (was 30%)." There it is, 10% off.
The nerfs aren’t bad at all.

yea the hunter in the grp i was in was not even hitting 10k he was not very happy, we couldn’t really do it cause his dmg was so low
I’m sorry but that just sounds like the SH player was bad.
Destro Warlock and Survival Hunters were overtuned and doing 3x the damage of everyone else. Now they are more in line with the other specs. They aren’t automatically F tier to the point where you can’t clear keys. The player thenselves are the problem

Flavour of the month Spec mad that a class that was SSS+ got rightfully put in line wow. Only bad thing was blizzard not mentiong this in patch notes but they did state that they would look into more tuning before s4 hit
yes the bomb damage was 30% down to 20% but they didnt say about mad bomber going from 80% down to 70%
SV nerf was apparently not done incorrectly, and the SV discord found that he overall bomb damage nerf was about 5% while ST damage has apparently gone up.
So whoever is doing less than 10k damage is actually just bad, because until this is fixed we probably should have a little higher damage overall now. Obviously don’t expect this to last, but that’s where we are at right now.

not mad just would like to know when they put extra nerfs into a spec at least state it i know we had a 10% drop to our bomb damage but our mad bomber got a 10% hit as well that was not in the patch notes
Gotcha, i was on my shaman but i have 0 clue about sv hunters but they were always good and that was the second key i ran only and first 15 key had no hunter.
That’s just a consequence. They didn’t change those numbers, it’s just inherently linked to the damage nerf.
