Set Itens too easy to acquire

One of the things that is ruining the game is how easily you can acquire the set itens. As before you had to work your way into raids multiple weeks to acquire your set, which would require you to join a good guild, have actually interactions with people, to commit being on the scheduled dates, earn their trust and points to receive the master looted set…Now you can just farm heroics and get them. The feeling of accomplishment is gone.

This is coming from someone that didn’t do a single raid this expac and got all set itens from pugging M+.
It’s pretty ridiculous IMO.
I remember the feeling of accomplishment when I got my MM set making Aimed shot instant cast. Walking in the world proud of my deeds, melting enemies in world pvp. I’m sure a lot of players can relate to that.

Now, getting the set is just one of your chores as a player.

This game has become a walk in the park, as if trying to tune everything to the “majority” of players is the right answers every single time.

EDIT:
You guys want everything hand over on a silver plate.
You get everything you need in a few weeks then complain there’s not enough content.
RNG is how the game works, it’s how it Wow became the number 1 at it’s niche. if you only needed to do a raid once and get everything you need, this would be a single player campaign game. This is a MMORPG, you need aspects of interaction or else it’s just a boring repetitive single player.

This is gonna be a fun one!

Unpopular opinion. There’s too much power attached to them in modern wow to make them hard to acquire. People like myself don’t raid but push m+ to 3k.

It’s not ruining the game. It was one of the pluses about DF. The game has progressively added more endgame paths to gearing from Legion to now. And it’s great!

Huge compliments for being committed enough to misspell items as itens three times.

Probably autocorrect. Itens is items in Portuguese.

I think the way they evolved the vault and giving set items and Catalyst charges in DF is the best this game has been since inception. Gear shouldn’t be the end game, the game should be.

Not getting your set for months was BS. This new system is vastly superior and here to stay.

I’m in a great guild and until recently we were doing every awakened week for this seasoned, and every week in S3. If I relied entirely on raid drops, I wouldn’t even have a 2pc, because that’s loot rng.

I like the current system.

The sets are too important for most classes in pvp so they better remain easy to get or they should disable them in pvp.

Few things suck more in WoW than getting your performance held back due to bad RNG.

The creation catalyst was one of the best things they’ve ever introduced to the game. Running content over and over again and not seeing your drop for weeks, only for you to lose the roll when it DOES drop is a pretty bad feeling, and anyone who’s raided high-end progression knows that feeling.

It’s the majority that keeps the game running and pays the bills. Also, not to be that guy, but if the game’s so easy, maybe try doing raids on heroic or mythic difficulty.

This crushed my soul in wrath. That and guild drama are why I love being a filthy casual just out in the world, soloing about these days.

What’s an “iten”?

No.

I agree i just recently came back to wow again and i remember having to do raid ls for gear was horrible to even get a decent group thay could actually finish the raid was a chore in itself for me i usually went in as a plaiadin off tank and i rarely if ever got set gear to drop. Dps wasn’t hatd to find good healers and tanks were so i tanked them mostly. I like the new system because even noobs/casuals can still learn the mechanics and be helpful. Not need to be carried. I don’t have a good guild anymore new server still looking for a good guild to accept me. Right now leveling characters to 70 the end game gear grind them all. But haveing and easier time getting gear definitely helps get more people into end game.

As it should, since M+ is an end-game pillar. The same was true in Shadowlands.

Yeah, it sure would be terrible if people who don’t do raids could get prizes.

the set items are part of the current game and you need them to play it the way the devs intend. as such, you need a reasonably direct pathway to earning them.

otherwise, go back to 40 man raids and hope you have enough points to prio your bis and it drops, like, ever.

I’ve spent weeks grinding reputation just for one piece of gear. I have spent weeks doing massive numbers of very difficult dailies and spending large sums of gold just to earn a trinket my raid leader required me to have.

the DF system is preferable to me.

When the game is balanced around everyone having a full set, there needs to be a reasonable way for everyone to obtain a full set.
