Services Prices - Calm Down Blizzard

$75 for a 60 boost…? Race change for $32…? (I am Canadian).

The algorithms and processes have existed forever. That generally means prices drop as times goes on… Do you want people to play alts and enjoy your game or not?

You would get easily 20x more boost if a boost was say $10. So why make it so much more?

If you want it to mean something, you shouldn’t offer it at all and if you’re trying to capitalize on laziness your price point is horrid, most people would just not make a new character… So really, what is your angle…?

Remove the sub or maintain your ridiculous service prices. Really, that is your two options.

Whoa, it’s $75 for you? That’s wild. And to think I thought $60 was too much. I didn’t know they cost that much. I’ve never purchased a boost before. I’ve only used the complimentary boost they give you with expansion upgrades. I just don’t see the point in buying a boost when leveling in retail is extremely fast and easy compared to classic. But I guess people will buy what they want to buy. I don’t think they’d ever dip as low as $10 though.

the only algorithm or process at play here, is Canadian taxes and/or exchange rate.

Maybe they want people to play the whole game and not shortcut your way to endgame?

Why are you guys going to war with India? Seems like an overreaction. Also wtf is with this qanon queen stop appropriating USA culture.

Leveling is so fast. I make a new character at the start of each month just for the trading post tasks and level it in no time.

Only time I suggest people buy a boost is when they are so impatient with people in leveling dungeons. Just skip it and save people the headache.

How much was the expansion on sale for here recently? 30 dollars?

The prices for some of those services is completely asinine. Along with some of those transmog set costs.

I get that there exist people who only care about the endgame, but it just feels so strange that there are people willing to pay money to not play the game that they are paying money to play.

Blizzard and by extension Activision are beyond greedy. It costs nothing to boost character level. If it did, we’d have to pay them a dollar per level while playing.

You should worry about getting muscular at the gym rather than worrying about video games

I’m old. I had muscles in my younger days. Now I get to be old and fat. I’ve earned it.

Characters services exist because there’s a demand for them, but at the same time, the devs don’t want us to use them. That’s why the prices are punitive. If they were inexpensive, the system would be bogged down by character services. They want to you to carefully think, “do I really need this?”

Why eat pizza when you can get a juicy bicep pump and attract all the ladies?

… I mean … You could at least include a moose joke in there somewhere…

Ladies are temporary. Pizza, pizza is forever.
