You’re kind of the problem though. People like you that buy all the shop mounts basicly tell blizzard : Hey its okay if you keep removing things from the game and sell them to me at a High price after i paid you 60$ for a game and 15$ a month for subscription. Lowering the bar for them at such low point the metric just keeps moving : how much stuff can we make them swallow before we need to actually care for the customer.
yea it was that way, but i was spam d/cing on login on my main due to some issue in game, and then it reset me into a 2nd que. 1st que was a bit over an hour, 2nd ques a bit over 2 hrs

Maybe, im part of the problem. Thats happen when i feel they are doing well (talking about the content), and i get hook by the game, same when i played hs, ow, lol ,etc. if the game hooks me, i dont have problems “contributing” with it. the least I would expect about them is to be reciprocated. But you all know the end of this history. lol
What are you talking about you paid 60$ for those, the subscription is suppose to be for services. Thats why they call it live service games.

They’re “exploring” to see how many people will pay for server transfers in the face of sitting in 5 hour long queue times. Then, once the queues are trending downwards they’ll offer free transfers to save face.
I’m talking about the sub fee, since that is what they were originally talking about.
Both. Money (you paid for a game)
Time (you pay for a subscription).
Not even counting the time is money of you waiting in a 4 hour queue.

No you were not because you correlated the years of content (expensions, games which are bought with a 60$ one time charge) with the 15 $ sub fee which HE was talking about, which are not correlated with the content but more with the live action service of the game. Customer service, server transfer, race transfer, etc.
2 hours into the queue and still 2860+ people and 132m to go! This is BS.

waited in que for 2hr around 2pm for que on Area 52.
Have been waiting in que for 3.5 hr this evening to get disconnected with less than 30 min left on que. Feels bad. back into 240min que

Explore away. While you guys are “exploring multiple avenues” I’ll just be sitting here in my 258minute queue waiting for something to happen.

I know i’ve been typing a lot of stuff not everyone will agree with. But if there’s one thing people will hopefully understand is that it’s never useless to CALL up a company with which you are engaged in a money transfer for a service and tell them you are (at this point very) unhappy with the service recieved.
Sure it takes time, but keep in mind that things change when people come together and demand stuff they are owed. So call Blizzards customer service. Thank you.
So, in other words, we lowered the cap because people were not buying server transfers fast enough.
Hold onto your hats folks, I am predicting that they will lower the cap further and drive the queue times up in hopes of either forcing people to give up, or to ‘encourage’ customers to buy server transfers.
There absolutely is no way they could not have known this would be an issue. This almost seems intentional, but since it is such a small number of realms, it is more likely incompetence coupled with withholding the purse strings. I would not expect them to do any remedy other than what they are already doing. THE solution is attrition, whether it be through customers buying transfers, customers quitting or some combination of both.
The problem for some, is that they cannot even do a server transfer. I have attempted several times already, so far unsuccessful. I actually take back part of what I said. They will implement a fix for those trying to transfer to make it easier for them to do so. That will likely be the extent of it. That has actually convinced me that perhaps I am giving the wrong company my money. I think I will cancel and try to get a refund for Shadowlands, if that is unsuccessful, I will do a charge back on my credit card. I am in no mood to re-roll on another realm at this point and be further behind than the rest of my friends who are now approaching lvl 60.
Does anyone recommend another MMO that is decent? Not looking for a 'Wow Killer" but something I can make reasonable progress in a relatively short time and have fun doing so?
EDIT: Perhaps it is time to start emailing the executives of the company. Whenever I come to a standstill with a company, sometimes a friendly little email to a C-Level executive can get things rolling.

Yeah but a lot of people don’t have the option of server transfering if their on raiding related servers. Area-52 and Illidan are major raiding servers and some of these people are in top raiding guilds. So to ask them to basically leave their guilds and leave a major raiding server is unfair to the people too.
They wont. Been in que since 7:30 pm with 5900 ahead of me and 260 minutes, its now 2662 and 141 minute que almost 2 hours later. I would transfer my lvl 50 toons if it was offered and not think twice about it.
