all servers when i sign into the game say incompatible and when i click to join I get dced.

Found out the problem
Check your task manager, I had that issue and found there was some remnant of the WoW client still open, when I closed that it started the update in battlenet.

Same, scan and repaired on Bnet, restarted Bnet 3 times and nothing changed.

Incompatible means there’s a small patch being deployed.
(my battlenet installed one and I am able to to get in)

This half-way worked. After I ended the process it said BN was updating, but never actual started updating. I restarted my PC and it updated
Same problem here. Classic Wrath client updated but it wouldn’t update retail. I did a restart of my PC after classic update was done and it worked.
Make sure WoW is closed, then reopen it and allow it to update.
Anyone still having this issue? Reset the PC twice, closed all apps, tasks says there’s nothing running… Not sure what else to do?
