its one reason why im not doing EBGās right now. its hard enough dealing with the stutter and the intense lag fest and getting booted for no reason and having to ctrl/alt/delete to shut the game down cuz its unresponsive but dang this is just pathetic on blizzard on so many levels i cant even comprehend on why the ignorance is so bliss for them but im not surprised honestly. were nothing but cash cows to them! which is honestly sad!

also, i find it funny that we all can do a refund/charge back on our accounts for this nonsense if this continues to be an issue. Just think on how much money they would lose if people would do that each and every time that blizzard had a bad hiccup. you would think it would turn those hamster wheels that they have spinningā¦ sikes who am i kidding they would just laugh at us and say ha u snooze u lose
I concur w/ all the above. The persistent lag is just ridiculous. It makes the game far less enjoyable and borders on making it just a big ball of frustration to play. Logging in / out invariably involves some āupdateā these days; would be lovely if a lag fix were nested into one of those āupdatesā.

Logging in to Stormwind 30 sec lag- now its stuck in trying to find the realm been happening since Pandara re-mix and getting worse.

I t does seem to be when many players are together. Outdoors has good fps and city fps is almost as bad as an epic battleground

Yeah, same here. Am doing very few of them and increasingly struggling to find a reason to log in as itās so damn laggy everywhere.

Yeah this garbage lag since Tuesdayās reset is something else. Even though Iām showing my traditional 8-13ms both home/world, itās just unbelievably buggy / laggy in various scenarios. Iām sure theyāll say some trash like ādelete ur wtf and interface foldersā āreinstall wowā etc as if just by some coincidence their latest maintenace pass is somehow related to a bunch of unconnected users computers / systems and not the real culprit - Blizz laziness and ineptitude. Iām not even worried about my computer - 100% more than up to the job of running this potato game and almost assuredly of higher quality than what devs work on.

oh the servers can handle us, the issue comes down to the incompetence on the dev team writing code over old code without deleting old code. Seen it before in other games. Blizz says that they dont do it but hands down a lot of us know they just copy paste old code and rewrite a few new lines and bam saying its new code without deleting the existing code.
This started way before Tuesday, itās been all of TWW, if not including the end of DF

Banning all toys in battlegrounds would be a solid first step to reducing the server lag
As much as Iād be against this, this is definitely a good idea along with blocking the use of fireworks.
ā¦ or just upgrade the server infrastructure

lag is spreading to other servers. sitting in dorn in US Thrall and staying around 200 ping like im on an oceanic server with spikes going over 400-500. not playable, idiot devs

I think Kalviery recently mentioned server hotfixes when in specifically for connection issues affecting raids, but just to point out that this is player discussion only. Unless it is a common issue affecting the entire service, a blue post is not guaranteed, and not always then.
