Tried to log on just now and all the servers say incompatible. Anyone else seeing this? I go into some streams and looks like other people are in the game just fine so what’s happening?
update: Had to restart my computer to get Bnet to push an update, but it’s working now
Try restarting your computer. It should push an update in Bnet.
Same… seems like Blizz may have pushed out a hotfix/patch to the servers and not yet to the client? Either way we are dead in the water as restarting the bnet client several times has done nothing for me.
Restart your computer. Bnet restarts don’t always work. Can’t guarantee the comp restart either, but it usually helps.
Huh, I didn’t notice any updates recently (maybe I just missed it) and I was able to log in alright.
Thanks, but restarting the BNet client, as per the support article for incompatible servers states, a fifth time seemed to get it to pick up the update.
I’m betting it’s an issue with the update slowly propagating to all the CDNs
Check to see if you have an instance of WoW running in your task manager and kill it.
Then restart the BNet client to see if that fixes it
I know, but CS tends to say restart the computer, as that definitely kills any processes running.
