Me and a few guildies were doing a key when the whole game just started freezing. everyone on the server in trade chat and guild chat talked about it but the issue resolved itself. Just now it happened again and then it booted everyone to the character select screen but the background was completely black. 10 mins later we loaded back in. happened twice today.
Lagged out trying to loot last boss of a timewalking dungeon and can’t log back in, stuck at trying to load the character select screen.
Im from Black Dragonflight and same happened to me

Having the same issue, was in a Timewalking dungeon
same for people in dalaran realm
same from stormrage are you kidding me blizz get your stuff straight mid bg and i completely go dark
Dalaran can not retrieve Character list / enter world. Other realms are up including silvermoon.
Same with Bleeding Hollow.
Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s down. I left to grab water, and I got dc’d.
Yea i got Disconected in the middle of a 5 mask and now the login screen is totally backed out
same ;-;
we lost that vision, right? or we can continue when we logged in

Dalaran also got hit.
EDIT: Oh somebody beat me to it, but yeah
Same on Ysera, can’t log in or see any characters but other servers are just fine
Dalaran (east coast US) is down too
Same on Undermine (and Anvilmar) trying loot a legacy Firelands run, keep ‘losing’ loot and freezing (hopefully loot will get posted to us later)
Just happened for the 2nd time tonight on Zul’jin - would be nice if Blizzard ever gave an update or acknowledged this - but i wont hold my breath
Just spent echoes to purchase an essence on an alt. Got DC’d, echoes disappeared from currency tab but never received essence. Character select screen now black, game disconnects with 519000325 error after approx. 1 min. Stormrage also.
Stormrage - My Alliance troops are out of commission as well.
Was just turning in the Tortollan Emissary and then everything stopped responding. I had to Alt+F4 out.
And as I’m typing this my character list finally loaded!
what im guessing is the east coast Data servers got hit and all realms on that data server are down
