I got into the classic beta about 5 days ago but it says there are no servers available, but I see people streaming it so I’m confused here, do I have to resub for the servers to show up?
You are not in the beta, you downloaded the Live client.
In Development - Beta: World of Warcraft Classic, with Play button lit. = you have beta
Anything else = you installed the beta client and can now uninstall it, and/or you installed the “Live” client and can log in August 27th.
HAHA you wern’t in the beta buddy… You were in something they call a “stress test” and everyone was in it.
see you august 27th.
Blizzards own convoluted system has caused a lot of people to think they are in the beta when they actually are not. You don’t need to be a jerk about it.
Makes no sense, there’s a million posts regarding stress tests and beta invites. People should know that they’re not in the beta test.
Also it’s a video game, don’t be too serious about it.
You don’t have to be serious to be civil.
I do have blue lit play button, I can switch between WoW classic and just plain WoW in the bnet client
Not on the Beta: World of Warcraft Classic, under In Development, you don’t.
For clarity, there are 3 clients.
In Development
- Beta: World of Warcraft Classic ← This is the beta.
Live
- World of Warcraft ← This is Retail.
- World of Warcraft: Classic ← This is the Live Classic client that you keep starting.
Servers come up August 13th for Character Creation, with a July Stress Test before that.
