I was wrong in the far away cs forum and not on the blizz app or notices. Thanks though for pointing out that 2 hours ago they said it was fixed.
It’s borked and folks logging in should be told on the launcher.

It’s literally the same amount of clicks that it took you to find general discussion.
Who ever goes to the cs forums? or follow us on twitter crap?! The launcher is designed to notify us so we don’t have to go slogging through a forum. Just plain old inept and apathetic.

My launcher first said restart tommorow then we get a server shutdown with no notice, oh wait they posted the notice after they started the countdown. Just plain old ineptness.
I’m going to gamble they keep it offline until tomorrow as no one wants to work after hours at this company anymore.

My launcher has notification of server maint happening now
like i said they put the notice up after they began the restart. I mean at least folks know the game is down at least. At this stage I’m surprised they even bothered. Must have been one helluva an exploit to shut it down this fast.
I mean to be fair, were you sitting there watching the launcher specifically for the message to change that they were restarting it now? Or did you go look again after the restart notice on the server?

At this point my sub is expiring and I’ll be free of this massive time sink.
