You guys might want to consider having separate servers for live, events (like Legion Remix), beta, etc. That way you’re not bringing down servers for unrelated services while you’re fixing something from another service.
And patch notes on the app would be good too. Even if it’s a menial update so we know WHY we couldn’t access the paid servers.

Well, they do this for Diablo 4, so it’s odd that they don’t for WOW.
I’d rather have several 1 hour days than two or three 8 hour days if that’s our trade off
I get that it was advertised that it was going to be down. I guess I didn’t make it very clear that it was about the down time itself when the updates were for an unrelated service

Definitely agree, but at the same time if there doesn’t NEED to be downtime for a specific service because they are working on… let’s say classic. Then why do the remix servers need to go down? That was my point.

separate server for something like remix would put a much bigger toll on it due to the amount of people play it - remix at a point had more keys done than retail. They’d need a LOT of servers.
would also reduce the chance of say an OCE/South american server to zero or unlikely to be made.
so all in all this is a bad idea

I hope they fix Lemix because if the whole WoW community is calling the last phase “Phase 5 Fiasco” is for a reason!
its bc Remix going to retail has been buggy they are trying to fix it, its been all over the forums and remix forums about it so maint all week isnt a shock when they are trying to fix it, in fact there is now a bug being going to retail going to wrong phase of the game so im sure they are trying to fix that now too
