In online gaming, server stability is critical to player satisfaction. When Blizzard’s servers go offline, it directly impacts players who invest time and money into the game. Therefore, Blizzard should consider rewarding affected players with free game time as a gesture of goodwill.
Players invest significant sums into Blizzard games, and server outages diminish the value of that investment. Offering free game time acknowledges this investment and shows that Blizzard values its players as more than just revenue sources.
Compensating players for service interruptions fosters trust and loyalty. By addressing outages transparently and offering compensation, Blizzard demonstrates its commitment to player experiences, reinforcing the idea that it cares about its community.

He literally mentioned: and i quote: “free game time as a gesture of goodwill”.
As i said before, the problem, (for the company), with prolonged server downtime, is the fact that many players, who have managed their scheduled around gaming during that time, will in many cases, open other gaming platforms, or games.
There’s always a click moment for those deciding to leave WoW, (again).
Another mass DC, server offline Doomhowl HC, causes hundreds to lose their characters AGAIN. I lost my 60 priest like this a few days ago, now the 35 rogue while I was standing in stealth and dc’d. The lack of action on Blizzard’s behalf and failure to step in and do what’s right by rolling back these unjustified deaths caused by their failure to uphold the servers and service that was promised to be provided for when we paid our monthly subscription is unforgivable. I’m cancelling my subscription until I see results from the developers and/or those with authority to make things right. I will no longer invest my time, energy, and money to a company that doesn’t care about their player base. gg
