After going the entire P2 without a single weapon upgrade on my Enhancement Shaman watching Warriors and Rogues vacuum up every contested drop like it’s their birthright (Rod/Talon) I finally got my moment.
I walked into BT on my HUNTER, killed Illidan, and WALKED OUT WITH AN OFFHAND GLAIVE.
Yes.
A Hunter.
With a Glaive.
And before anyone starts crying about “wasted loot” or “BiS priority,” don’t worry I made sure to put +1 Damage on it. Wouldn’t want any Warrior or Rogue thinking they deserved it more.
Honestly? It feels incredible knowing there’s one less Glaive going to a class that’s been spoon fed weapons all expansion while Enh Shamans rot with S1 PvP weapons!

That’s the point! They get to rot in my bags! Maybe the rogues and warriors will think twice before taking my enh shamans bis weapons when they have 5+ other options to use! Enh shamans only have 1 PvE option to use per phase!

It’s funny watching people get more upset about my post than Warriors and Rogues ever got about taking my only Enhancement Shaman PvE weapon option in P2.
Meanwhile, I see some folks in here speed‑running the “AI slop” buzzword like it’s a new meta, which is wild considering I’m the one with the Glaive and they’re the ones coping in the comments.
And being called a “pathetic human” by someone who thinks that’s a meaningful insult? That’s just bonus entertainment at this point.
The reality is simple: Warriors and Rogues had five-plus viable weapon options in P2, and a TROLL Enh Shaman had one option per hand Talon/Rod the exact weapon’s they kept snatching because “muh parse”
So yeah, the OH Glaive is going to rot in my bags, and when I get the MH, that one’s rotting too. Both of them. Right next to all the other loot they said I “shouldn’t roll on.”
And honestly, when duplicates drop in my future HR runs, I’ll just delete the original and take the fresh one too might as well keep the collection going.
If anything, it’s poetic justice. The classes with the most options lost the two items they really want this expasion. While my rat hunter gets to let both Glaives sit in the bank collecting dust.
Couldn’t have worked out better.
