So… I came to Classic because a few friends were and they suggested I come to their realm. Almost instantly I found myself hooked on venturing in the world I fell in love with as a teenager 15 years ago. It’s been 3 weeks now and my small group of friends have gone back to retail but I couldn’t quit on my mage.
I’m lvl 56 now and noticing that there is really nobody looking for groups on content that is relevant to me. I know you’re offering free server transfers and that’s great that you’re trying to even out realm populations, but why… if i’m on an EST server have you offered me 2 options for transfer to a Brazil or Latin America server. I’d like to not reroll the only class I’ve ever enjoyed thoroughly on a more populated server that would provide me with a community of a decent size where all pre - raid content is being formed.
So… Why can I not just give you $30 to let me transfer my character to a realm of my choosing?
I’m in the same boat. Friends got me to play on their server which is a PST (I’m EST based) and they all pretty much quit so I feel like I have wasted my time on a server where my ping is higher and most guilds raid times won’t line up for me. rip
Phase Two is Dire Maul, Kazzak/Azuregos and the Honor system. It’s not a new raid or battlegrounds, it’s a small phase that Ion said would release a few weeks after launch.
Link to where Ion said Layering will be removed a few weeks (few = 3) after launch. Which we have already passed btw. Please also provide link to where Ion said Phase 2 is a few weeks after launch.
Don’t worry i will wait while you scramble to find something even remotely close to that.
No one is doubting or betting in bad outcomes. I think they say things to keep our attention. A few weeks… what does that mean? It means they’ll release phase 2 when they’re ready. Saying a few weeks was just to buy time from players complaining about not getting phase 2. Dire maul is a game changer. Those buffs are massively op for raiding.
Newman: How quickly will be you be dropping the number of layers, do you think?
Hazzikostas: We actually expect fairly aggressively to reduce the number of layers that are running, even after the first couple of days.
Once the populations spread out around the world and people aren’t all in those handfuls of starting zones, we’ll be able to have even half as many layers as we did initially, with the goal just a few weeks into launch, as we go to phase two, of having all layers stable and having a single layer for each realm as the end state.
