Maybe more of a PSA and rant for others to get some extra voice out there.
tl;dr, Blizzard does not offer server transfers within Season of Discovery, even after you’ve purchased one for $25.
Buyer beware, even though the in-app purchase does allow you to make a $25 purchase of a server transfer in-game, there is no direct warning you cannot use a server transfer in SoD; you have to go on-site to see its terms beneath the purchase button.
I understand while I could (and will be) leveling a new character on this new server, I have very little time to myself with work and life. I just wanted to bring my well-earned prized character along with me.

Through some trouble of getting past the automated system (did not help me at all), a Blizzard CS represenative reached out to me. They were able to help understand and refund my unused Character Transfer. The GM did a thorough breakdown of the situation and took care of the issue due to an existing good standing on this account.
It will be a few days to see any wire go through, so I’ll keep in touch.
My intention is to give credit where credit is due and I hope these continuous edits will reflect positive initiative.
