Hey blizzard, with this new 50 char limit per realm how about a promotion on the service ? I mean I really don’t feel like paying 20x40can$ =800$ to get all my chars in the same server…so how about a week where transfers cost let’s say 5$ ? That’s something we could talk about

The community needs a lot more than just a bone after BfA and everything involved in it but Blizzard isn’t about to lose that kind of money. Blizzard isn’t about you, or I, or any other player. Blizzard is about making money and keeping investors happy.

Youll get a bone alright. It will start with slight pressure… No way in heck will they throw away a chance to make a ton of money from people consolidating their characters

I’m not paying the prohibitive price of half a grand just to consolidate my character stable
If you’d like, go make a character on the PTR to see how the paid services actually work. Instant race / cosmetic change, whatever server you want. They really just keep the faction/server change in the game because people keep paying for it. Other games do these things for free.

Uh huh. Other games also charge for more bag space, additional characters, unlocking of certain quests and rewards. Shall I continue? Also those games you mention have maybe a couple of servers. Sounds like you and the OP don’t understand why they charge in the first place and no it isn’t all about the money for server transfers or they would have lowered the cost long ago.
The point is, we need a promotion.
I wouldn’t want to be here for the deluge of players who didn’t make the week window.

Especially with the new races coming out, for A SINGLE character it would cost me $70 CAD to transfer and race change. It’s ridiculous! I am stuck on a dead server, not by choice (Free server transfers were offered when Oceanic servers opened up)

As automated as the service is to move a toon from one server to another there is no reason they shouldn’t offer package deals on it.

I dunno. If I want to change servers I generally move ONE toon over and then just reroll from there. The leveling process doesn’t take that long and it gives me something to do.
If i was on their marketing team here is how I would go about it, you get a discount if you move 3 or more chars over of 75% on both the move, the faction change and the race change if needed. For one week after the patch
