Server Transfer Megathread

I suspect that most people who claim that they want to “play with friends” don’t have any actual friends.

The no transfers from PvE to PvP actually was removed when TBC classic launched. I remember I was playing on mMankrik and they dropped the restriction and everyone and their mom went to Whitemane cluster.

There are tons of guilds and players that are still leveling and haven’t hit 60 yet. Using raid logs to gauge the population isn’t a valid source this far into a servers lifetime. Hell from what I’ve heard Horde side only has one or two raids worth of 60s so far everyone seems to be taking there time over there.
People really need to realize that we survived decades with less than 3k players on a server. We have a long long ways to go before it’s even close to dead.

I remember when TBC came out era was a ghost town, but there was still a guild of two raiding on each faction, still not dead.

The issue is we have the same data from 2019, som, and sod launches. Classic launch first month had over 100k logs.

Sod had even more .

Anniversary is now over 1 month and we have 10k. That’s pretty bleak.

And this is 100% blizzard fault since they cannot pick a lane and keep fragmenting the classic community with multiple iterations at the same time.

A lot of people are also just waiting for TBC. Like I myself and at least a handful of my guild mates don’t intend to raid at all until TBC because we have been doing them every week for years on era.

Most people are not 60 yet, some people have jobs and don’t swipe.

Nope, try again.

This is the issue though. When tbc launches we will have again split community with mop, next season, HC fresh to appease streamers, era. They need to accept that the classic community is small and have a single focus like retail.
