Server status thresholds

I would like to know what the SLA is on estimated down times. What are the thresholds we can expect blizzard to meet. As someone who works in IT, I understand and support proper server maintenance. If your cloud vendor can not properly propagate your patched servers that is an issue that needs to be addressed. Your user base would appreciate an updated estimate, or a proper rollback of the patch for failure to properly execute the update.

As of this time we are two hours beyond the estimated restoration of services. At what point does Blizzard introduce a reduction of subscription charges to its customer base for failure to deliver a service as promised?

What uptime thresholds can the user base expect? 99.9? 99.99? Not including properly communicated patch windows of course.

I had my pacific reversed in my head for some reason. This post is incorrect for windows of time exceeding maintenance windows.

originally the maintenance was from 0700-1500 PDT, Looks like the servers are up right now, early

okay great now fix my printer

32.33. Repeating of course.

1500 pacific time was 2 hours ago. And they are not showing up yet. I fail to see how they are early. Perhaps the bronze dragon flight is doing you some favors?

what? check your math again

Hi, PNW’er here.

it is now 1:17 PM, also read as 13:17.

Not there yet.

edit: that being said, the server seems to be up? I am logged in right now.

Check your time again. 7-3 PST. It’s currently only 1pm pst.

I guess this confirms youre in IT if you cant even read a clock correctly.
