Whenever I go to loot something in game there is a 3-4 second lag between me clicking it and the game registering it. The same happens with picking up / handing in quests.
I have 18ms local and world latency, my internet outside of WoW has no problems and my game is running at 60fps.
I’m on Oceanic Nagrand. Is this something that Blizzard is aware of / looking into?
Its just the amount of people logged in - all the loot requests happening at once - their database is getting backed up. Latency doesn’t really have any bearing on that.
It’s everything. Skills registering, quest hands-ins, looting. It’s honestly terrible. I’m not sure what Archo is trying to say, but it’s not awfully useful.
Same thing here, and all of my friends are having the same issue. Any world quests or leveling has massive server side lag. Dungeons are fine, as is Torghast.
Honestly the delay is crazy for me, i even have chat delay. I have some kind of lag everywhere i go it’s usually about a half second delay throughout the whole game which seems like not much but it’s super annoying coming from classic where the is really no delay.
It doesnt happen only in drustvar to be clear. It’s a type of lag on their end, and oddly enough it doesnt register on your latency. Your world/home latency may be fine still you will be experiencing huge delays on your abilities etc
Another example I remembered, when nazjatar released, the zone was almost unplayable. Then you would load into a singleplayer scenario, and the lag was gone.
Now in shadowlands I experience this kinda lag at around 2pm EST onwards. I guess their servers still can’t hold the amount of people playing. Truly disappointing
It started last night at 9pm realm time in ardenweld.
Its like the lager that we got in the invasion zones.
My guess is all the shards/layers.
Game was unplayable.
Zone lag has been shocking & I’m on a low pop realm.
Worst launch since warlords
