Are there going to be server shutdown / reset timers implemented again, or are they going to shutdown without warning to apply hotfixes like modern retail?

From what I have read it sounds like they are reserving the right to do a weekly restart but may not restart every week as the servers will not always need it. Raid resets, if that is what you mean by timers, are the same as original game.

They said that no shutdowns are scheduled for the tuesday after launch so thats pretty cool

I actually had this happen once back in Original…
We’d been in there for 6 hrs, made excellent progress, as we were walking down the spiral around the pit…the message came up. What was said next, I can’t repeat here, and it ended hilariously with a couple of people trying start rags before we all got in position, thus wiping us…the offenders were dog boxed for a week for it, but overall we had a laugh.
