There is a little good news though. Right before the server goes down they save it, so you should be able to finish soloing the game in only 1/3 of a day. Sometimes, if things bug out in your favor, you can log in and have somehow beaten the game. That’s what happened to me. Now I’m doing another play though on medium. Easy was like, too easy for someone of my skill level.

I was saving it to my floppy when it crashed. I will have to see if my data was corrupted when the game is back up.
oh god! I hate when that happens. Well, good news is that if you are on a PC and the disk gets corrupted, there is a small chance that you can get at the data on a Mac.

All jokes aside it’s actually pretty friggin annoying. Why have the countdown timer if you’re just gonna shut down early? Was literally finishing a quest on my alt before work and was about to hearth with over 2 minutes left, then DC’d with “no servers available”. Guess I ain’t getting no rested bar for the next 15 hours >_<.
Maybe if I microwave it for 30sec on low it will realign the vectors and restore the bits and bytes.

Mine might be… but I looked out the window and aligned the sun with the horizon and took in the proper compensation for the curvature of the earth and also calculated in the Cost Atmospheric Falacy and determined that, based on math/science/physics/geometry, it was 2 minutes before the hour.
