I collect mounts, i end up farming really terrible rares due to job flexibility with hours, etc. That means i stick around watching how certain things spawn and despawn.
Lately i’ve noticed how we keep getting sharded out of the blue, even while doing events/rares/etc.
Zaralek Caverns have some of the worst iterations of rares i’ve ever seen on this game and worse now, we get sharded into new brand shards which means much like a server reset, that the rares cd double because they only spawn 1 hour after server reset. So for every hour i’m waiting or hanging around in a place to farm stuff while waiting for a rare, i get sharded out of it to wait another 1 hour since i got into a brand new shard/zone spawning timer. This is horrendous since not all rares can spawn and even if i’m at the timer they could spawn, i get punted into a new shard where rares won’t spawn for another 1 hour.

At 09:05 a rare spawn, 09:06 a event starts spawning, 09:08 in 2 min i’m sharded at the event that was starting at 09:06 spawns again, which means i’m shuffled into a new shard. That wouldn’t be a problem if the rares here followed the 1 hour pattern other rares follow, but no, Zaralek had to get broken with sharding and problematic spawn timers.
This is disgusting, i can sit here for 4 hours and literally see nothing spawning if i keep getting sharded out of zones due to herbing bots zerging the place down.
