Hello,
I may consider transferring here from the server i am on called stalagg, and a few friends may follow.
My main question, is overall ganking while questing, I love wpvp but at low level with players way above my lvl and grouped up, it can pretty much suck. my server has about 40% more horde then ally, and its non stop ganking to the point we cant quest and level. Some ganking is expected of course, but every 20 minutes is ridiculous.
I know this is part of wpvp but there is such a thing as to much, and was wondering overall how it is here for EF, plus i always liked a good med pop server more then high pop for many reasons. As long as its not a dead server.
Any Info you maybe able to share about EF would be great…
Thanks
I played on Herod prior so feel your ganking pain. I haven’t been ganked by a 60. A few 50s venture down. STV is STV. It’s still Phase 1 so a lot of people are more concerned with leveling than ganking.
Rogues will still get you. I haven’t been driven to get upset other than emote spamming. More for the knowledge it annoyed them than it made it better for me. So yeah, I think you’ll find questing much better here. Do expect to have to leave a quest area if it’s overrun at times.

The population seems about 50/50 and most people leave each other alone while questing. The worst ganking will be outside of dungeons or in places like STV where the ganking happens as a meme. It was far better than Herod. You’ll be fine.
And the server is definitely not dead, plenty of groups for dungeons even though you won’t necessarily be able to run the dungeon you want to run exactly when you want to run it every time.

Cool yeah dungeons I don’t mind at times because we have a group of us, and usually some highers, and can usually run into the portal. And there is other zones besides STV which I did not do for my lvl 38 lock.
I do like med to med high pop better also. thanks guys

As already said the server pop is 50/50.
For whatever reason the allies I run into leave me alone 95% of the time and sometimes even help with escort quests. I find this extremely confusing so I just roll with it and do the same for the alliance.

You will have a better time. I was on Stalagg and it wasn’t fun seeing the few Alliance groups have to death run 3 times in order to get into LBRS/UBRS. On this server it seems to be RNG which faction has the advantage at any particular point so most people behave themselves.

Right and like i said earlier I do expect some ganking etc, just as long as it doesn’t take me 2 hours to do a 1/2 hr quest… on Stalagg there is so many horde, while questing in ashenvale the red plates which is normally mobs was horde .lol so think I would accidentally hit them, then it was corpse running back for me.
There are TONS of alliance around, you’ll be fine.

Yep. Stalagg, when I left it 2 weeks ago, almost felt like a Horde-only PVE server lollll

Plus with the transfers now its getting even more like that there, why would the horde leave .lol unless tons of alliance leaves and horde will have noone to fight .lol
I’m behind 2 weeks due to server queues on Herod. Want 60 so I can get my alt mage started and other plans. Before Phase 2 and the wpvp gank fest. And since you’re a druid I only mess with other druids if they attack me. I played my retail druid from Vanilla to Legion and loved the Vanilla druid community!
