Server population solution (my point)

Hi : iv returned to play classic 10 days ago in “AZURE SONG” while not at home leveling… Was on the forums reading, and I can’t understand why the comunity is always complaining about everything…
U need to understand… If a realm is full/high queue/impossible u get free xfer to another realm (and here’s my point)

Ppl complain about the destiny realm being “dead” and wont xfer because “everyone who goes there will regret, course #deadrealm… I mean really?.. IFALL OF THOSE complaining about FULL/QUEUED REALM take that free xfer, destiny server will NOT be dead… It will reborn with” half/full pop server " amount of players…

Is that hard to understand?
Full realm…" Dead" realm
4k… 200
-2k…+2k
=2k…=2.2k

There u have 2 well populated realm created BY THE COMUNITY… Just need to organize and move full guilds/groupsoffriends, etc on bulk and A the destiny server won’t be dead…

That’s the solution… COMUNITY… Make posts “I’m. Moving to (destiny) realm, come with me and all of us together will make a cool population server” (example)… Be proactive, make the change, don’t sit and wait a magic free xfer to a cool pop server WON’T HAPPEN… Everything takes time.

I stayed at Azure song (while almost dead at start) it was 400 players 10 days ago and now is at 1300 pop without any migration wave… I just knew it… If the server is full and WOTLK isn’t even live is obvious that when the date of launch approaches the more players are coming to the game and it will be super full and unplayable… So I stayed on that one and just waited with my statement “like I came back here, many more could and will or even new players too”

Just stop complaining and take action, you are wasting time without making any change… Transfer with your guild or make use of the forums to create a migrating wave all together…

Honestly, this is all common sense therefore I can only assume people are going to be enraged by your proposal that requires them to have some personal responsibility.

You’re not wrong. This type of thing has actually happened a lot as well.

Also, personally, I totally understand people who were burned being cautious about transferring, but you won’t catch me doing that “dead realm do not transfer” stuff. Even small(er) realms can be fun for those who like that type of more tight knit environment.

I’m giving mi opinion… Something I think will make the game a better place for all of us (I know Im not on the same table due to choosing to stay on my realm and wait till I knew it will and Is happening… The “dead” server is getting new players and is a cool number or players on it right now…)
But as a wow player I feel them I wish some of them struggleing with queues, takes action and be part of the solution… Don’t just rage… I’m trying help the community (not waiting a blue magic solution that’s never going to happen)

BTW this is my main character, forgot to change it before posting (don’t like the feeling of posting “anonymous” this is me)

There’s the fear of moving to what’ll be a dead server but we see that transfers work. Sulfuras did a full 180 in a week and is in amazing shape right now in both population size and faction balance. Now that it’s in a good place, they locked it and people who waited too long out of fear are left behind and we was a lot of posts from people outraged at being left behind.

It’s pretty unfortunate really. The “only mega servers survive phase 1” propaganda has people making poorly informed decisions that are gonna lead them to being stuck in +10 hour queues on launch week, and for what? There are several healthy surveys they could’ve organized a guild transfer to but were told it would die by phase 2 (when freaking ulduar releases) and believed it.

These forums are gonna be wild when people are getting DCed due and stuck in the back of an 840 minute queue on launch night.

Well that’s the point… They are given a solution, but rejected it and then proceeded to rage about the long queues again…
People need to think and use th given tools to make the best out of them.

If they make guild transfers, or big groups, why fear? I mean is your guild, they’re nor going anywhere…
