So, how many servers will there be? Are we keeping the mega, or multiple servers? 4 pvp 4 rp 4 pve 4 hardcore? If multiple will phasing be a option?

I was thinking about this and I’m wondering if there is even going to be servers… They are kind of an outdated concept and with first and last names Bliz can probably just do away with them entirely… IDK… I’m just speculating.
Kinda just your own game all same chat for lfg. Then layered in?

I am very curious about this as well. How many servers, what kind, and are we going to get rid of layering? As they mentioned, community and server reputation is important (which it sure was in vanilla). I feel like layering ruins that, although it did help with some other issues players had with a mega server without layering. Either way, can’t wait!

Like maybe they need a server per region but with phasing and everything else they might not need dedicated servers/realms anymore. IDK… It’s Microsoft…
I’m probably wrong but it wouldn’t surprise me if you can play with people regardless of where they call home.
