Server MS question

Hey everyone,

Be warned, I’m not tech savvy and have little idea to how these things work.

Do people expect server lag if connecting to a PST server from EST areas? I ask because I currently connect to a Pacific server from north-east NA for retail and I’ve never any issues with consistent high latency, or even any consistent and noticeable lag. I ask because these classic forums were the first time I’ve ever seen it mentioned and i had planned to roll on Pacific server for classic, but will probably change my mind if I’m just going to exist at a few hundred MS.

What you have now will be what you have in Classic.

The latency difference between PST & EST servers isn’t really too much of a big deal. The difference if you were to play on a European server, you’d notice the lag at times.
I’m in EST & stress tested on a European server. It was still playable, but there were minor delays at times- most noticeably, looting.
I also played on a PST server & didn’t even notice.

I live in EST and play in PST. Have ever since 2004. Latency is typically around 100.
Time zones dont matter really.
