Please, server merge some of the dead servers. Like Arcanite Reaper. We have more bots than people on the server. Also please start taking bot-reporting more seriously.

Blizzard and probably the players don’t want to merge servers. That will come later though when classic population eventually declines that only 10 servers or whatever are needed.
Plus most of the players on the 90/10 servers or worse are there to avoid WPvP if they are the majority faction.

Blizzard wont do anything to help servers. THey’ll keep opening free transfers and killing them because they dont know what they’re doing

Aka carebears who should have rolled pve servers in the first place. They’re the ones who screwed up pvp server balance, server population, and server hop destroying communities to avoid the pvp. Then cry about balance and the pvp happening on pvp servers because it hinders their access to pve content.

You’re half right because if blizz kicked all of the carebears to pve servers where they belong they wouldn’t have even needed as many servers as we have.

If I ever face you in a bg, i will try to /salute you before either being killed by you, or you killing me.
Since us Horde that want to stay on Heartseeker, we’ve had to coordinate to two Alliance guilds that are willing to work with us to open the gates; and their GMs informed us that several alliance guilds have transfered from high populated semi-balanced servers to Heartseeker because they don’t want to PvP and lose their raid buffs on a PvP server.

Amen brother. Fairbanks Alliance here but I an only imagine that your situation is much worse. While we’re only 30% of our server here, from the looks if it you guys are like 4% of the server pop which is pretty unacceptable. These lopsided servers are a joke and anyone playing the majority faction on them is not there to PvP, they’re there to say they PvP but really they’re just PvErs. You’re more hardcore than most for staying on that server /salute.

I’m not leaving my home server that Blizzard and the players let it fall this way. I will stay here to purge buffs from the carebears.

Other low pop servers. I honestly don’t care about faction imbalance, just seeing other people in the world would be nice. AR feels like a private server that no one was invited to.
There is more at play here than just a simple server merge. Blizzard asked players to transfer TO those dead servers several months back. How did that end up? Well those dead servers are STILL dead. The ball is in your court on this blizzard. You need to merge servers or if you are NOT going to fix this issue allow them to migrate to server that will be able to actually open the AQ gates.
If nothing else grabs your attention… you need to hire some new people to start looking at loss of revenue from players leaving vs. a one time fee transfer for those who did. I assume you get the point here… Losing all those players is going to equate to a higher loss over time. Many players will just quit wow when the server dies. It’s that simple.
I bet they’re happier than the people who complain about them.
Where you at with some responses on this blizz?! The server imbalances and the amount of bots on Arcanite reaper is rediculous. Makes it easy to farm honor when theres 10 alliance bots on the beach of azshara…however ive reported them each time and still nothing. Seen the same names on that beach for a month…are you even looking into the bots that are being reported?! Maybe we should just all go play runescape remastered! The fact that an alliance character can walk through org on a PVP server at 2 in the afternoon on a saturday, during a time where all people are doing is staying inside and gaming, and not even get killed because theres no on in the city is just plain dumb! WHERE ARE YOU ALMIGHTY BLIZZARD!
Did they ask them to transfer to the dead servers? I honestly don’t remember.
They left transfers open to very healthy servers and it’s where people chose to go.
I’m with the other people in this thread, a lot of people are pretending they like PVP - but they really just use it as a means of hindering the oppositions efficiency in PVE.
Minority faction is PVE minded and raid log harder, majority faction doesn’t have their PVE hindered and are content where they are - eventually the server dies.
It’s a shame so many people buy into the “if you’re legit you play on a PVP server” mindset when they’re nowhere near about it.
We’ll see if they’re still happy carebears during the WAR EFFORT. They were not happy during P2.
Whatcha all think putting the majority of the player base in one zone will be like? Don’t worry though. Daddy blizz will be layering the event so some carebears will hide from the pvp.
Probably have to use sharding for that many in one zone. So there will probably be plenty of shards to hide on.

According to ironforge dot pro (which admittedly only counts players that use “warcraftlogs”, but I haven’t found anything better yet) Arcanite Reaper is only 19% Horde.
If I look at the “Realm selection page” in-game, it is the only “Low” NA server.
Looks to me like OP is being accurate about his problem.
Nope. That’s one server, not all servers.
The sweaty guilds will be sequestering themselves i one zone, leaving the rest of the world sweaty free.
