After almost 20 years of playing this game I’m just super tired of having the game be unplayable on tuesdays for up to 8 hours or more. It should not take this long.

It is a pretty big update they are releasing today. Some new interface stuff with hunter pets, you know that’s going to take like 4 hours by itself LOL

Vast majority of the time, Tuesday maintenance is 30-45 minutes.

I just made Tuesday my Chores Day. I clean the house and do all the laundry and linens, including the dog blankets. Cook and meal prep for the week and finish any leftover work from Monday.
I never plan to be in the game before 3pm, regardless of when it comes up. This way if there is the occasional long maintenance, it only makes me wait a few hours. Otherwise, it’s usually up by the time I’m done.
I’ve got to do these things anyway, so might as well do them Tuesday. I can’t change what the game does, but I can change how I deal with it.

I’m usually at work from start to finish on Maint Tuesday… so it rarely effects me.
I FINALLY have a Tuesday off from work, and i’m like “yeah, I get to play WoW on Tuesday during work hours”…
scratch that… nvm… it’s a 9-to-5 maint for me (Central Time).
Same! As I said, Tuesdays are one of my 3 days off a week, so I do like ALL of my adulting on Tuesdays =)

I woke up early today, not related to the game but because I was so exhausted from working and other stuff I fell asleep early. Figures it’s on a longer maintenance day, so I been cleaning. Bored now though, so here I am… on the forums.

Most of the hobbies I enjoy I too expensive to do consistently X3 Like bowling, das a lot per game and cheap hours are usually late in the day.
I mean, maintenance is maintenance. But what really sticks in my craw about this one is that the new season started 2 weeks ago…why couldn’t this stuff be rolled into that patch? To have an 8-hour maintenance 2 weeks after a long maintenance to start a new season is really poor planning IMO and disrespectful to the playerbase.

i love u man thats the way to say it that exactly what i was thinking like what year is this this is unreal they can do this stuff on offline servers or something like come on it shouldn’t take this long indeed!
I work nights, at least until June. Until then I’m afraid I will not be playing today.
