thought with this… How about blue post before or during going hey we are bringing down the servers because we need to fix whatever it is. just include a little information. Then bam lock the post and call it a day. the last time I tried to log in was last Tuesday and that was a mess, and now this morning. I just wanna know whats going on.

Communication would be nice. BlizZard acts like communicating costs them a lot of time and money lately.

Just to point out that there’s an existing issue for some people where they have never gotten a single maintenance notification in bnet client or in-game since prepatch.

I think you have to update your bnet launcher to the current one.
Didn’t get a notification either, is it down for an hour or is it long maintenance?

The launcher says it’s going down, but not why, which is what OP wants.
Which honestly would be nice right now seeing as soooo much is broken.
Are they fixing anything or is it just stability issues?

Blizzard developers don’t even know what’s going on, if they don’t know then you surely aren’t about to know.
notifications are so 2010’s. We figured it out that the servers were down all on our own.
well that aint gonna happen.
There is honestly no reason it couldn’t happen.
I’m in Remix now, not sure if normal realms up, should be.

Unless the bug physically trasmits Arthus through the screen, who then goes on to kill your entire family, I dont see why they cant wait until Tuesday. Or make Tuesday and Thursday maintenance days. Just not all the time.
