What’s with this awful server lag that’s been going on for weeks? Is this something we’ll need to just get used to or is Blizzard going to address this issue? Are we still using server blades from BC?

I just logged off because of it. Every little thing I do has to take an extra second or two. Its just unbelievable.

I thought it was me.
I was doing delves and the delay between casting and effect and your action button showing the cooldown is really noticeable.
Thought something was up with my network or computer as I hadn’t played in a week.

I have experienced this lag too, especially in epic battlegrounds. in large fights with tons of people, when i press an ability, it doesnt register into the game, and i have to press it several times for a few seconds for an ability to fire
This problem has been reported and Blizzard won’t give a reply or answer. This is free to play game behavior, not sub based game behavior. Get your act together Blizzard.

Did the Dragon Race in the main city this morning and it was shutter shutter shutter all way though the whole race…
Mine started riiiight before last years anniversary. They are doing too much without fixing underlying issues with the servers.
It makes gathering herbs and mining node so annoying.

laggy today. Had errors with guild bank. so they havent fixed that.
Its horrible from time to time in BGs. Makes me laugh now though after a few seconds of mashing a key bind and saying some words i cant put in here lol. You gotta laugh about it cause it doesnt look like blizz is going do anything about it anytime soon.

Who knows? Every new bug introduced seems to be a coin flip as to whether it just becomes a part of the game or gets fixed.
How long did rogue CPs and Mage arcane charges just disappear and stop showing occasionally? Do they still? Haven’t played either since late DF.
But why change a light bulb when darkness is working as intended?
I seem to be suffering from the same issue, even dropped down to 720 to see if it made a difference and it did not.
Starting to wonder if they’re using chatgpt to code. Aside from that, it doesn’t help to have 20 year old bugs in a 20 year old game with more and more bugs stacking on top… or maybe it has a little something to do with all the players from over seas logging into NA servers… maybe it’s time to upgrade those trash servers?
Having my latency say I’m at 60ms but performs more like its around 2000ms… It’s slowly getting worse every week. If it doesn’t improve for me by the end of the month I’ll be pulling my sub.
the sharding/phasing in open world feels like walking in muck a lot of times. whether it is simply world phasing or due to story line completion or whatever, still boggy…
and in large group content (pvp, raids) my comp just sort of gets shut down. my laptop isn’t new but it isn’t that old either.
