Server Issues are Due to DDoS Attack

It was just announced in the launcher that Blizzard is experiencing a DDoS attack. There is not likely to be an estimate on when this will be resolved anytime soon considering the nature of this sort of attack, but they’re working on it now.

For the record, I’m in North America and cannot log in and people in other countries are experiencing the same problem, so this isn’t isolated.

Of Course it’s a “DDoS attack”.
Blizzard would never acknowledge that they messed anything up.

EDIT: nothing on my launcher about a DDOS either.
