So who cares if the servers are balanced if layering is a giant cluster? I mean everywhere I go it seems like its 200 horde versus 3 or 4 alliance or 200 alliance vs 3 or 4 horde. Questing is impossible to get done. This layering thing needs to go away. It’s just not fun. Either stop letting players swap layers manually or remove them completely. I’ll sit in que, I just don’t want to deal with the population swings.
Layers ruin the game
Well, yes, but it’s an answer to the problem of too many people on a single server.
Totally understand. I’ll take more servers or long ques. This crap has to stop. It’s just not fun.
Bigger pop please.
I was thinking the same thing last night.
I found it odd yesterday how in a few of the Ashenvale events I did the Horde won only thanks to having around 2 raids more than the Alliance on my layer while after it finished I saw Alliance from another layer merged with us and they talked about how they crushed the Horde.
I had to organize a few of the randoms in my raid on the way to LM to wipe like 5 Horde gank squads on the road and clear it out for everyone behind us. Then while at LM continued to harass Horde and clear the roads near it so the others could safely get there while waiting for %. I knew it was going to be bad from the start with the population difference I saw before it even started.
I just find it odd how big of a difference in pop some layers can have.
Exactly. Add on the fact that horde have FPs and rez points all throughout the zone and alliance rez in Auberdine half the time and its maddening. Even if you manage to kill them, they will spawn close and be back before you have health.
